In an all-electric running of the 102nd Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, ABM provided on-site fast charging for Bryan Herta Autosport’s attempt to break the records for Electric Production SUV/Crossover and Electric Modified SUV/Crossover. The legendary course in Colorado Springs, Colorado, tests drivers and equipment with a 4,700-feet climb over a grueling 12.42-mile course.
The ABM Terra 184 UL DC fast chargers used in Colorado Springs originally travelled to the testing trials in California from the ABM Electrification Center in Georgia, where ABM presents technical training in EV charger installation and maintenance, such as the newly developed Tier II training attended by multiple TEGG contractor’s technicians earlier this year.
Contractors across the TEGG network can deliver EV charging services with support and training from ABM. With over 30,000 EV ports installed nationwide, ABM provides single-source solutions for eMobility, power resiliency, and electrification, a vital part of their commitment to a healthier and more sustainable world as one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions.
TEGG is one of two franchise brands of ABM Franchising Group, providing comprehensive electrical services, preventive maintenance solutions, and safe, reliable electrical asset management for commercial and industrial buildings. ABM Franchising Group is an operating unit of ABM Industries.
