TEGG, a franchise brand of ABM Franchising Group and a leading provider of electrical maintenance services, announces Manufacturas Electricas S.A., commonly abbreviated as Manelsa, signed an agreement to join the TEGG franchise network. Manelsa is a top provider of electrical products and contracting services for Peru.
ABM Franchising Group, an operating unit of ABM Industries Incorporated (NYSE:ABM), offers a portfolio of franchise networks that deliver mechanical and electrical service and preventive maintenance solutions to commercial, industrial and residential buildings. ABM Franchising Group consists of three franchise brands: Linc Service, GreenHomes America and TEGG. Manelsa will operate under the TEGG franchise brand.
"I recognize the importance of electrical service for the future of our company. I am convinced that, in our partnership with TEGG, we have taken the right path to grow our company. By providing TEGG preventive maintenance services, we will now bring even more value, support and protection to clients and their facilities," said Mario Ricci Nicoli, Managing Director of Manelsa.
Established in 1972, Manelsa offers clients integrated service solutions including installation, process automation, system upgrades, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment. As part of the TEGG network, Manelsa plans on expanding its team of 300 to include new team members focused directly on providing and promoting TEGG preventive maintenance solutions. In addition to electrical services, Manelsa has evolved into a leader in the design, manufacture and merchandising of medium voltage and low voltage switchgears. The company acts as a master distributor for more than 10,000 types of electrical components, which are sold through a network of independent distributors around the country.
"Manelsa is already a front runner in Peru's electrical industry. By integrating TEGG's best-in-class training, proven growth strategy and internationally-recognized preventive maintenance services, I look forward to seeing the company's market penetration grow," said Bert Kendall, Chief Operating Officer of ABM Franchising Group.
