TEGG franchisees had the opportunity to further their best practice knowledge during Empower Training Services sessions on NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace, and NFPA 70B Safety-Related Maintenance in June and July.
Joseph Gierlach, Vice President of Technical Training and Support for ABM Franchising Group, led a group of 20 contractors during a training session at Turner Electrical Services LLC in Rossford, Ohio, on June 21 through June 23.
“The seminar was very informative on many important safety topics and concerns,” said Jason Ryan of Turner Electrical Services.
The second training session, led by Joseph DeMonte, Director of Technical Training and Support at ABM Franchising Group, was held at California Polytechnic State University, in San Luis Obispo, Calif., on July 6 and 7.
During the two-day session, held for TEGG Franchisee Electricraft, Inc., DeMonte taught 18 contractors about safety standards. The participants found the sessions informative and helpful, noting that it made them more aware of the most current and best-practice safety standards.
“It made me more aware of safety,” said Kurk Lins of Weatherby, Inc.
