More than a dozen employees from Oliver J. Nilsen, Ltd., came together to celebrate their accomplishments and growth in 2016, discuss strategies to expand business, set goals, participate in networking events and take educational courses during its annual Continuing Education event in July.
During the three-day event in Melbourne, TEGG Senior Area Vice President Erik Lorensen and Area Vice President Jason Huber joined the staff of Nilsen Ltd. to review what’s new with TEGG, including ProposalBuilder and the TEGGPro Mobile PSE software, and the new Arc Flash Lunch and Learn Program.
The group also attended several sales and technical workshop sessions, and discussed how to properly analyze and dissect successful bookings into case studies.
“During this three-day event, our sales team had the opportunity to participate in targeted continuing education sessions, learn about the latest technology and offers from the NHP business, network with their peers and were recognized for their achievements during an awards dinner,” said General Manager Brett Birthisel. “Many thanks to all who participated in the event and congratulations to the award winners on a successful sales year.”
Outside of workshops and training sessions, the team took a break to race go-carts at Auscarts Racing in Port Melbourne. During a series of races, Anthony Tenson, Nilsen Network’s National Sales Manager - National Contracts, took first place; Geoff Timbs, General Manager of Nilsen NSW, took second place; and DES Sales Representative Greg Gay took third place.
