Several employees of Irwin M&E Limited helped rejuvenate and rebuild a play area at Edenderry Nursery School in Northern Ireland in May.
The team repaired several wooden playhouses, and repainted them in bright colors. They also recycled electrical cable drums, which were upcycled to create picnic tables and stools for the school’s children.
Irwin M&E also helped build new fences and repaint wooden planters and benches in the school’s garden.
“We very often hear how schools like Edenderry Nursery School are struggling with budgets so we are delighted to be given the opportunity to give a little back to the local education community,” said Keith Stewart, Principle of Irwin M&E Limited. “Our employees love to get hands-on and get a real sense of teamwork and accomplishment when they see the end result.”
Irwin M&E Limited has been a TEGG contractor since 2006 and has provides electrical maintenance for Northern Ireland’s Education Authority.
