TEGG hosted its annual Australian Continuing Education Conference on June 27-28, at the offices of Schneider Electric in Adelaide, South Australia, where more than a dozen TEGG franchise employees came together for a variety of training and educational sessions, and networking opportunities.

Nilsen Pty., Ltd., has six locations throughout Australia, and is TEGG’s sole franchisee on the continent. It has locations in six Australian states, and has been a TEGG contractor since 2004. 

The conference was built around the theme of Building on Four Decades of Excellence, marking the 40th anniversary of ABM Franchising Group. 

"It's hard to believe that our franchising network is celebrating 40 years, but we are proud to have been providing excellent service to our clients for four decades," said Martin Keyser, Senior Vice President of Franchising Operations at ABM Franchising Group. "It has been truly outstanding to watch ABM Franchising Group grow from its humble beginnings to the international network that it has become. We’re excited to be able to offer this conference for Nilsen Pty., and are excited to be a part of their continued growth in Australia." 

During the two-day conference, Nilsen Pty., Ltd., employees met with TEGG Area Vice President Jason Huber to recap their successes over the last year, network, share leads, review new selling tools, discuss goals and participate in technical trainings. 

It also included a tour of Nilsen’s Switchboard Division in Ferryden Park. The walking tour helped the sales representatives better understand how switchboards and other technical equipment functions. 

The event also included a tour of Schneider Electric’s manufacturing plant. 

"The conference was a huge success, and well attended by the employees of Nilsen Pty., Ltd.,” Huber said. “It included members of the sales team and upper-level executive management, and everyone left energized and ready to start the company’s 2020 fiscal year.”
