The Associated General Contractors of Georgia, Inc., awarded Mayberry Electric, Inc., first place in the 2017 AGC Build Georgia Specialty Contractor Awards (see page 10B) for their work on Fannie Mae’s new Atlanta office.

Mayberry Electric, Inc., worked with Warren Hanks Construction Co. and Cushman Wakefield Project Management to install the building’s electrical system.

“The general contractor was confident that we were the best electrical contractor to ensure their success with this job,” said Lisa Hollingshed, President of Mayberry Electric, Inc. “This project had an extremely aggressive schedule, but Mayberry Electric remained flexible with all of the changes made throughout the job and handled them promptly to ensure that none slipped through the cracks.
 
“In spite of the tight schedule, this project was completed on time with no accidents or safety issues, and the client was very pleased with the end product."
 
Mayberry Electric, Inc., a TEGG contractor since 2015, installed the electrical system in the new location, which is set to be a test design for future Fannie Mae offices throughout the United States.

The annual award marks excellence in construction by both general and specialty contractors for projects built on Georgia soil during 2016.
