ABM Franchising Group celebrated 40 years of providing clients with unparalleled service during its largest Continuing Education Conference on February 7-9, 2019, when more than 1,200 Linc Service and TEGG franchise employees, and ABM employees came to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta for educational sessions, awards and an opportunity to network with vendors.
The annual conference, which was themed Building on Four Decades of Excellence, offered more than 90 educational courses, dozens of roundtable discussions and the Vendor Showcase, which featured more than 90 industry vendors – the largest in the history of the event. The event's Signature Sponsors included Carrier Enterprise, Nu Flow Technologies, Sunbelt Rentals and Viega. View a complete list of industry vendors who participated here.
"It's hard to believe that our franchising network is celebrating 40 years, but we are proud to have been providing excellent service to our clients for four decades," said Bruce Phibbs, Senior Vice President of ABM Franchising Group. "It has been truly outstanding to watch ABM Franchising Group grow from its humble beginnings to the international network that it has become."
ABM Franchising Group hosts the annual conference to provide educational and networking opportunities for its franchises, Linc Service and TEGG contractors. The 2019 event included a motivational speech from Alan Stein, Jr., an experienced performance coach, consultant, speaker and author, who has spent more than 15 years working with the world's highest performing basketball players.
During the conference's Award Presentation, Kroon Electrical Corporation, a TEGG franchise since 2002 from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, was named TEGG Contractor of the Year. It marks their second Contractor of the Year award.
The Contractor of the Year Award is presented annually by ABM Franchising Group to the most outstanding TEGG contractor. Criteria for achieving the award is based on, but not limited to, implementation of the TEGG system and overall sales activity and performance.
"It wasn't too long ago that this organization had a vision and moved from a typical electrical contractor to focusing, like a laser beam, on renewable maintenance agreements to become a total service company," said TEGG Vice President Brian Myers. "They held strong and never waivered from that vision, and now they manage over 50 million square feet of electrical assets. This has been done with strong leadership throughout their organization and a great team that is firing on all cylinders."
ABM Franchising Group is committed to providing Linc Service and TEGG franchisees the resources they need to be able to create opportunities for their business to succeed.
The 2020 Continuing Education Conference and Vendor Showcase is scheduled for January 23-25, 2020, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta in Atlanta, Ga.
