adi Electrical Limited is set to create up to 100 skilled labor jobs in Northamptonshire, UK, after opening its new engineering and manufacturing facility on May 2.
adi Group launched its new 16,000 square-foot base at the Crown Way Industrial Estate in Rushden. The company chose Rushden due to its proximity to existing and potential clients. It plans to deliver more than 30 specialized disciplines from more than 20 divisions within adi Group, including adi Electrical Limited – a TEGG franchise since 2005.
"Our new Northamptonshire base gives us extra flexibility and enables us to simplify the way we deliver services to our partners in the region," said Alan Lusty, CEO of adi Group.
"In recent years, we have adopted a proactive approach to achieving our strategic objectives, so this investment is a real expression of not only that but of our confidence in the area to provide the skills we'll need to exceed the expectations of our customers. adi Group have been operating in this area for many years, but we now believe the time is right to further invest, bringing our services closer to our customer base, as well as allowing us to add value to prospective customers across the East Midlands and down towards London."
adi Group currently has 650 employees across 11 locations throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
The company marked the grand opening of the new facility with a visit from Formula 1 star and Sky Sports commentator Johnny Herbert, along with journalists and key clients.
"We're all excited… but what animates us perhaps the most are the joint prospects of providing even better solutions more easily for our clients from the new facility, while at the same time creating some great new job opportunities in the Northamptonshire area," Lusty said.
